Lucenildo Aquino Júnior is project analyst at The Brazilian Network Information Center – NIC.br acting in three project: i) IX.br - Brazilian Internet Exchange; ii) OpenCDN and iii) NTP.br. At IX.br he is responsible for maintaining a 3.3Tbps network directly attached in commodity Internet. He holds a Bs.c in Computer Science (2011) and a Bs.c in Physics (2010), a Master Degree in Informatics (2014) by PPGI from University of Paraiba and currently PhD student at Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo - USP. He has expertise in computer science, acting on the following topics: Middleware, Computer Networks, Advanced Routing, BGP, MPLS, Content Delivery Network, Digital TV, Digital Cinema and overlay networks for video on demand transmission.

He will present a small overview about Internet Exchange Points at NIC.br and will show the ARP flood propagation problem at this networks. He will show existing solutions, why this solutions aren't efficient and how SDN can help IXPs solving this problem.
